Don and Helen Murphy
Donald B. Murphy founded DBM Contractors, Inc. and worked at the company even after he had turned the reins over. Helen, his wife of 55 years, sat on the DBM board until her passing in 2012. Don and Helen supported the Boys and Girls club for years spending countless hours and giving financial support to the organization.
To honor the lasting legacy of Don and Helen Murphy, DBM Contractors, Inc. sponsors the annual Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.

2026 is the 25th Anniversary of this event which has raised over $2 million dollars to support those children of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.
