Safety is a defining part of DBM's culture and our safety attitude is evident during every step of the project, from estimating until the last day of work. DBM invests heavily in training, tools and communication, provides incentives for suggestions, ideas and for doing the right thing.

Community Service

Donald B. Murphy Founded DBM Contractors, Inc. and worked at the company even after he had turn the reins over. In fact, he went to the office the day he died. Helen, his wife of 55 years, sat on the DBM board until her passing in 2012. She included all those associated with the business as extended family.

Don and Helen supported the Boys and Girls club for years spending countless hours and giving financial support to the organization. Don served on the Board of Directors during the 1990s.

In keeping with the generous spirit instilled in the company by Don and Helen, DBM actively supports other organizations including:

To honor the lasting legacy of Don and Helen Murphy, DBM Contractors, Inc. sponsors the annual Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament.

2024 will be the 23rd Anniversary of this event which has raised over $1.75 million dollars to support those children of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.

22 years is a prestigious milestone and we cannot thank you enough for your continued support. We have scheduled Monday, August 26th at the wonderful Gold Mountain Golf Complex for this years' event.

The 26th Annual Northwest Shoring Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 11th at Washington National Golf Club.

We look forward to seeing you again for a day of fun and relaxation with those in our industry.
